Carnivale

We watched that show at school on days we had double english lessons and I fell in love with it from the first episode. It was misterious,dark,freaky,creepy ,disturbing and beautiful. I even liked the vocabulary test we had to write afterwards... (which other class was learning words like harlot,brothel, god's wrath ? )
It got us excited all week long.
But the school year finished,so did the first season,and my teacher didn't own the second. Later on I downloaded it and we watched like the first four episodes,then that year finished too,and I didn't continue watching the series...I kind of missed the group-experience ,I guess :D
For some reason a few days ago I decided to watch it all,altough I heard that it is not properly finished,but I did it anyway...
I shouldn't have ....
Not the last 5-10 minutes...
I will never forgive HBO for cancelling this show....

Black wolf love

it started when I was like 5 (?) , I was watching a film , something like a Jack London adatptation, I think , I don't remember anything from that apart from a scene where wolves attack some men at a camp -how realistic- and the pack leader was a beautiful bleck wolf.I was totally mesmerized...

Yesterday night....

....I was hearing from my host sister's room the opening of True Blood,and  suddenly the hope got  me : season 4??? ( I haven't done updates on thet lately) So I go like crazy and type HBO.com ---> True Blood and they have this 5 minutes treat called  Trubies&Newbies ,and it's Bill&Coot and they're talking about wolves and such and the world is almost perfect.(but it isn't ,because we still have to wait a lot until season 4)

And then another idea : Game of Throne , and there's a 14 minutes preview    and I give out a silent fangirl scream and start to load and watch and then...

INVASION OF FREAKING FLYING THINGS  attacking the wall,the light bulb , my bed and my computer. And of course no repellent or anything in the house ,so I was fighting with a sole notebook.And the surronded by tiny bodies it was past 10 p.m. and I have to get up 5:30 every morning,so I went to sleep.

Have I ever mentioned that I hate (most of the) insects?

Altough I have no idea why we "celebrate" it in Panama....or maybe it was just my school? 
But it's said that everyone is a bit Irish on 17 March anyway. :)

No title

Because I don't want to 'say I'm back' again.
So,the Carnavales ... 4 days non-stop party.In the day the people danced on the streets while they were waterd from trucks.At night everyone went discos and clubs.And that's all over the country.It's madness.
Of course there were queens,music,beer,a lot of beer...

I take a break

I got a really cool chance to spend 2-3 weeks and the Carenevales at an other city in Panama,and I'm taking it of course :)Since I didn't go anywhere in whole summer , I' m really very happy about it.
I'll hopefully get back with a bunch of crazy stories and a LOT of photos.

Back to business...

I got my computeeeeer!!!

Feels so good .

Anyway , I've got enough of my summer break.I know how it sounds,but I really want to start school.I'm going to a new one, and well I'll just have something to do .Not like now.Believe me, it's friggin' boring.
However,for once I have time for my books . I'd finished the Percy Jackson series, which I loooved. When I was little I was really into Greek mythology, and now I'm all excited about it again.Seriously , it has everything : love,hate , wars, fights,blood ,death, art , parties, wine , drinking,singing , all that you want to see in a spectacular Hollywood film .

I also started the Game of Thrones -as I had mentioned it before- and realized, that dire wolves did actually exist. They were like 1.5 m long and 110 kb. Must have been quite badass creatures.

 So,tomorrow is Valentine's day...What are you doing?
As for me, I'm cooking for my host-family , after half a year I will finally eat my favourite dishes .
Also I'm planning to make a special Valentine's day post,so check back.

Still nothing

No computer , no internet.
For a few days it was all right , but by now it's driving me crazy.
I'm depended on my computer in a scary big deal.
All my music,books,films,magazines...The freedom of searching for whatever crazy thing occurs to me.
I so hope that I got my laptop back very soon.
Especially that I have a follower as I see!
Thank you very much,I hope I'll make it worthwhile to follow!

I don"t have internet,my computer is dying,and I"m still not used to Spanish keyboards.
Anyway everything is just great.
I"m reading Percy Jackson series,skipped salsa class for using internet.

What I've been up to lately...

Long time no seen...
So , a few things that had happened to me recently -apart from living my usual exchange student life...so mainly the list of books and films I've gone through:
-strange Christmas and New Year's Eve.It is really interesting to celebrate these away from home,away from your loved ones.It was really strenge,but it wasn't bad.
-my package from home with tons of choclate--->getting fat :S :P
-True Blood season 1-2-3-can't wait for the 4th
-reading Game of Thrones--can't wait for the HBO premier in April.... I so love HBO
-cooking some delicious Hungarian food
- reading Percy Jackson and the lightning thief
-watching Sherlock Holmes , which was awesome
-watching How to marry a millionare? which was fun ...OMG those clothes...
-watching 5th element...again....still love it...check this out:a guy singing the aria nd the Diva Dance ...he was on a Hungarian talent show...it's sooo amazing,a man with a voice like that..wow
-watching Black Death , which was pretty cool , and which made me to put Emilie Autumn's 'Spread the plague' or ' keep calm and spread the plague 'slogen to a whole new level...and I also made  a bit of research on plague...anyone else should be interested in the topic , check this out for basic information: History of plagues
